ANOTHER PARTNER JOINS FAST-GROWING DSWK LAW FIRM

The fast-growing law firm of Dussias Skallas Wittenberg Koenigsberger LLP (DSWK) has a new partner. Seasoned family law attorney Pepi Camerlingo joins the firm this month, bringing with her years of experience in complex matters and her longtime assistant, Claudia Uribe.

This year, Dussias Skallas Wittenberg Koenigsberger was an official sponsor for Erika’s Lighthouse’s 5th Annual “Bump Out Depression” Beach Volleyball Tournament. James Litzow serves on the Youth Adult Board and organized the successful event held at North Avenue Beach on August 12th. Erika's Lighthouse is a nonprofit organization hoping to educate school communities about teen depression, eliminate the stigma associated with mental illness and empower teens to take charge of their mental health.



ILLINOIS INSTITUTE FOR CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION

Michael F. Koenigsberger of Dussias Skallas Wittenberg Koenigsberger LLP presented at the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education (IICLE 2017) session on “Child Support and Maintenance Program”. Michael’s session on “High(er) Income Case Child Support and Maintenance” provided an explanation on how guidelines are applied and when they are deviated from on higher income cases. Michael was also a key member of the roundtable panel discussion that included judges and practitioners sharing their thoughts on where the law is heading and how all members of the board can contribute to serving justice as family law attorneys.



WOMEN'S ATHLETIC CLUB OF CHICAGO

Dean S. Dussias of Dussias Skallas Wittenberg Koenigsberger LLP was the keynote speaker at the “Divorce Alliance” Chicago Chapter Meeting. Dean presented and lead the round table discussion on the topic of the “Out Spouse” in a divorce proceeding. The conference was hosted by UBS Financial Services, Inc. at the Woman’s Athletic Club of Chicago.
