Specializing in the litigation and settlement of complex financial matters and custody disputes, Judd Fineberg represents individuals in all aspects of family and divorce law. He has significant experience in all aspects of domestic relations litigation, including conducting numerous hearings and trials, legal writing and research, depositions, appeals, paternity, mediation, arbitration, discovery of assets, and enforcement matters. Judd regularly counsels clients on the preparation and negotiation of parenting, settlement, and prenuptial agreements; valuation and distribution of assets, contempt and enforcement of judgements, and child custody matters. Judd has successfully litigated cases to conclusion in Cook, Lake and DuPage counties involving small businesses, complex estates and trusts, executive compensation plans and high-conflict custody matters.
Judd received his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law where he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society, winning the award for Best Overall, 2008 Summer Candidacy Competition. While attending law school, Judd clerked for a Chicago law firm conducting legal research, preparing legal memorandums, and drafting agreements and pleadings. He earned his MBA from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management in 2016, with dual majors in finance and economics.
